We’re excited to offer classes for
children with special needs beginning in the fall of 2012. Our
existing science curriculum will be
adapted and taught in small groups by Susanne
Whitehouse, a special
education teacher with a Masters degree in severe disabilities.
Classes will incorporate music, art, stories, creative play and
hands-on activities while working on social skills.
Our hands-on science curriculum was
specially created by scientists and educators to engage kids in
creative thinking, discovery and learning. Over the years, it has
proven to be ideal for both the traditional and non-traditional
learners enrolled in our programs. We often work with children with
special needs in our traditional classes, and encourage you to
explore that environment for your child as well.
We welcome you to call 703-723-9949 for
more information, stop by anytime, or
register for a free class.
45 mins. weekly. Ages 4-8.
