Weather Policy: In case of bad weather, the C-Zone may cancel camps if, in its sole discretion, it believes weather conditions present a hazard to its customers and employees. All cancellations will be announced on our website and on our store phone at 703-723-9949 as soon as the decision has been made. Because camps are different day to day and week to week, we cannot offer makeups.

Registration and Payment: Your registration is not complete until Curiosity Zone has received all required paperwork and full payment. Registration is subject to availability.

Refunds:

Winter Break, Spring Break & Student Holiday Camps

  • If canceling or moving between camps two weeks or more prior to camp:  Refund or change permitted with no extra fees.

  • If canceling less than two weeks before camp:  Store credit, less a $15 administrative fee.

  • If moving between camps less than two weeks before:  A $15 administrative fee will be charged.

Summer Camp

  • Camps may be refunded or changed with no fees until May 15, 2013. No refunds after May 15, but switching camps is OK up to two weeks before the first day of your camp, with a $75 administrative fee. No switches thereafter.

  • Enrollment fees are not refundable.  Membership fees are not refundable once the discount used.

  • Schedules, Missed Camps & Make-ups: Because the activities in our camps are different each day, and camp lasts only one week, we cannot schedule make-ups for camps.

  • Sick Kids: We reserve the right to send home any child with a fever or who otherwise appears to be infectious.

  • Camp Changes & Cancellations: Camp activities and take-home materials may vary slightly from those advertised. We reserve the right to cancel a camp and refund your money if fewer than 6 children are registered.

  • Drop-off and Pick-up: A responsible adult must sign your child in and out of camp each day. Children must be signed out within 10 minutes of the end camp. After that, late fees will begin to accrue; parents will be assessed $15 per child for every 15 minute interval or part thereof that the parent is late until the child is picked up.

Medical Needs: Our insurer prohibits us from storing or administering medicines to campers. This includes EpiPens. However, you are welcome to send an EpiPen with your child, if he or she is able to self-administer it. Possession of prescription drugs (other than an EpiPen or an inhaler) by children during camp poses a hazard to other children and is therefore not allowed.  We also cannot participate in toileting; all campers must be toilet trained.
